The Greek-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce was founded in 1924, in order to promote and grow commercial and business relations between the two countries. The Chamber, which handles about 15000 yearly commercial requests, is the official representative of the biggest expository organisations in Germany and provides legal and financial advice.
The executive board consists of twenty members and is elected by the members of the Chamber. The managing director of the Chamber is also a member of the executive board. The Chamber in Athens and Thessaloniki employs 20 associates.
