| Brief Biography |
I am an electrical engineer, born in Greece, raised and educated in Germany, currently leading the European smart-shoring company ONELITY.
I hold more than 15 years working experience managing and directing mid and large scale IT projects, for leading companies in e-commerce, logistics and finance.
Back in 2015 during Grexit, I took the controversial decision to launch a near shoring company in Greece. The driver behind that decision were opportunities that have arisen, due to a growing tech-business ecosystem and a steady supply of talented engineers.
I was actively involved in supporting the growth of the ecosystem in Thessaloniki, as a Board Member of TechSaloniki” an annual recruiting event bringing together approximately 1000 candidates with 40 tech-companies and as the organizer of “Thessaloniki QA Meetup in Software Testing”, an initiative aiming to encourage the flow of information and experience between tech professionals and software engineers.
In 2020, as a response to the growing demand in software engineering teams in Europe, I co-founded ONELITY, a European smart-shoring and software development company, with Headquarters in Germany (Cologne) and a branch in Greece (Thessaloniki).
