GERMANY TRADE AND INVEST

Michaela Balis was born in Hamburg. Since 2010 she is Director for Greece and Cyprus of the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, Germany Trade & Invest. Previously she worked as the Head of the Economic Relations and Marketing Department of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce. She holds a University Degree in European and International Economic Sciences from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master Degree in European Organization and Diplomacy from the National Kapodestrian University in Athens. Her mother tongues are German and Greek. She is fluent in French and English.
